My father's Mido Multifort Super Automatic wristwatch with a Speidel Twist-O-Flex band. He probably bought it in the 1950s at Guertin's Jewelers in Arctic, West Warwick (RI). The crystal is scarred from being worn while he worked in a warehouse, but the watch still runs.

The lower-left shows how it links to the sling and also shows how you can still attach a quick-release tripod plate. The lower-right shows how the camera can now hang with dual attachment points.
